The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to work full-time on our star product: CampusGroups. Within our Manhattan headquarters, you would join the sales and business development team. Your day-to-day job will include identifying and approaching potential customers in the North American market and organizing software demonstrations. You will report to the London-based business development manager. You will interact on a daily basis with the product development team and senior management.

You may be asked to be involved on the marketing and sales of new products to be launched by our company.

Key aspects of the position

  • Set quantifiable objectives to measure results
  • Identify and pursue aggressively sales opportunities with existing and prospective clients
  • Develop relationships with potential clients
  • Understand client needs and market trends
  • Recommend changes to the product and the sales strategy based on prospects/client feedback
  • Develop the internal CRM tool
  • Maintain an effective performance reporting
  • Contribute to build a performance-driven culture in the company
  • Help grow the sales team (recruiting interns or junior sales staff)


Profile sought

  • You have had a previous successful sales experience (1 or 2 years) in a technology driven company
  • You graduated in a business or science major from a US university
  • You are passionate about online social networks, software and online services
  • You have demonstrated strong selling skills and interpersonal qualities
  • You are able to adapt to new environments and be autonomous and proactive
  • You are a focused, goal-oriented and disciplined person
  • Ideally, you have shown an interest in non profit activities, whether charitable, sporting or
  • professional

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Developer to take over the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CampusGroups. Within our dev team, you participate in the development and maintenance of our platform and build new Web or mobile applications. Your day to day job will include developing new features and upgrading existing code as well as managing junior developers. You may be asked to work on new projects to be launched by our company.

Profile Sought:

  • You graduated in programming, engineering or computer science major (Bachelors, Masters or PhD)
  • You are passionate about developing new software and websites
  • You are fluent in .NET/ VB.NET or C# and object-oriented concepts
  • You have extensive experience with SQL Server or mySQL
  • You are excellent in HTML / CSS and Javascript
  • You know how to adapt to new environments and be autonomous as well as proactively seek the most relevant solutions
  • You have demonstrated management skills (whether at work or outside work)
  • Ideally, you have shown an interest in non-profit activities, whether charitable, sporting or professional
Required Level of Experience:
  • 2 or 3 years as a developer on a .NET platform.
  • You are or have been a lead developer on a .NET Web platform involving integration with APIs and scalability problematics
  • You have worked for/at a large Internet or Software company (such as Microsoft, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo!)

The role will be based in our New York office. Fluency in English is required.

  • The position is open due to strong expansion
  • The winning candidate will be responsible for generating new business from new accounts in the North American market
  • Core duties include prospecting within target institutions, determining client requirements, working with users and senior management and demonstrating the value of the CampusGroups solution

Profile:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • You are fluent in .NET/ VB.NET or C# and object-oriented concepts.
  • You are a master in the Microsoft environment. 
  • You are familiar with SQL Server or mySQL. 
  • You are fluent in HTML / CSS and Javascript.
