More Filters & Multi-selection Filtering Options

Filtering students to target just the right people has become even more convenient! Fine tune your search by using multiple filters in order to create and download a precise list of specific officers (e.g., all groups' presidents and treasurers).

This is an efficient way to interact with students (e.g., send email, download reports, validate members) by combining different account types, year of graduation and other available filters.

Differentiate which students took a particular major, program or class (or any other criteria you would like) through school-wide tagging. Before, you could tag group members or students registered to an event, but we've expanded this highly useful capability so that you can tag all students at school to filter and access them, campus-wide.

That's a Wrap! CampusGroups Rendez-Vous '22 Conference Was a Hit!

On Friday, April 8th, the CG team was beyond thrilled to host our 2nd annual virtual conference with our wonderful campus partners!

We were delighted to gather together and connect with so many creative and innovative campus leaders at CampusGroups Rendez-Vous ‘22! It was such a pleasure to see and hear from the incredible members of the CG community! 💙

Over 400 attendees from 12 countries and 141 campuses around the globe joined us for an exciting day of discussions, inspiration, discovery and new connections!

11 presenters from 8 institutions shared creative ways they have been adapting and innovating to keep their students connected and engaged.

How To Increase Connectivity with a Multi-Hub Campus Portal: Johns Hopkins University Campus Spotlight

In July 2020, Johns Hopkins University (JHU) America's first research university launched CampusGroups at its Homewood and Peabody campuses. Homewood is the university’s main campus and home to two major undergraduate schools.

A year after, it rolled out the community platform university wide. Spread over nine campuses and three continents, JHU has over 30,000 students, including over 20,000 graduate students.

Due to the university’s structure, JHU implemented the CampusGroups Portal feature (“Hopkins Groups”) with multiple Community Hubs. One for each campus.

This has enabled each campus to have a custom landing page and menu, creating a personalized experience for students and administrators.

According to Calvin Smith, JHU’s Director of Student Leadership and Involvement, this rollout increased connectivity across JHU campuses. The biggest windfalls reportedly are:

Increased student engagement.
A better user experience.
More granular involvement stats.
