New tools to empower event organizers

CampusGroups Events makes it easy and empowering for group leaders to create enriching and successful events on campus. We are always striving to enhance and improve our features’ functionality to ensure your event is not only a huge success, but also a simple, straightforward and streamlined experience.

To make managing events more efficient, we have created new tools for event organizers to facilitate the various processes involved in running an event (creation, registration, approvals, promotion, post-event feedback and more).

First, we have updated the way officers can add attendees to their events.

Before, you needed to manage the event first and then select members to add from there. Now you can go to the Members section, filter, and select those you would like to add, then just click the new “Add to Event” button for an easy way to add guests to your event. Please note that all Members you want to add to your event need to be in the Group first.

Then, we created a new way to copy and paste a list of emails with net IDs or card IDs to save a lot of time.

Lastly, we also added a new way for officers to track attendance during events, even offline, with no WiFi connection. You just need a laptop, an Excel file, and a USB card reader!

With these new tools, we aim to facilitate the process of event organization to empower leaders of your campus.
