Campus mobile apps are a must for higher education institutions! They help establish better communication and engage students.

Today’s college students are almost exclusively digital natives. They grew up with mobile devices as part of their daily lives and want everything at their fingertips and on-demand.

To adapt to this new generation, universities and colleges are upgrading their digital assets. Dedicated mobile apps are increasingly used as a tool to get information, learn, and socialize on campus.

Mobile apps reportedly contribute to higher student engagement, retention, and success rates. They are used by Student Life administrators and students for planning, communicating, tracking, and reporting.

Mobile apps increasingly drive how students gather information, learn, work, and socialize. It is therefore critical for colleges to have a dedicated campus app as an engagement tool.

The aim is to have a mobile app that is the go-to resource for students. Having a well-designed app is only half the battle. It is also important to implement a mobile app adoption and engagement strategy, targeting new and existing students.

A number of high profile multi-day events happen on campus every year such as orientations, conferences, competitions and graduation. To help organize large-scale events, we have created the Event Packages feature. This feature allows groups to create multiple events grouped into a single multi-day event.

On the web and mobile apps, the package appears as a single event. Upon opening, the event includes an agenda (listing sub-events such as panels or sessions), a list of speakers, sponsors and maps.
