Meet Andrea, Vice President of Sales
HI ANDREA!
Q: Can you introduce yourself?
A: Hi, my name is Andrea Palmer. I live in Buffalo, NY with my husband and shelter pup – Jodi Foster. I’m an avid fan of Buffalo sports, live music, and playing with my nephews. I have been in the industry for 10 years and love helping companies like ours grow.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I love being active outdoors! My husband and I run a three-generation family greenhouse, I play soccer, and race on a sailboat. I also love to travel! My favorite trips have been to the Galapagos Islands, Cuba, and a camping road trip to 10 National Parks.
Q: If you could have dinner with someone famous, dead or alive, whom would it be and why?
A: I would love to share some time with Malala Yousafzai. She is so inspiring and I admire her ability as a young woman to advocate for what she believes in - the right of all children to receive an education – after everything she has been through. I’d love to talk with her about overcoming adversity and her life experiences.
Q: How would you describe CampusGroups in 3 words?
A: Dynamic, Collaborative, Exciting
Q: What is your role at CampusGroups?
A: I am currently working to help people understand how CampusGroups works and help them bring the platform to campus. I also work to improve our overall client experience and help the company grow – building the team, our resources, and our processes.
Q: What do you like the most about it?
A: I love how excited people get when they are seeing CampusGroups for the first time. Everyone is always shocked at how much the system can do and how much easier it will make their lives. I can’t help but feel good about what we’re doing when they express their excitement!
Q: In your opinion, what does CampusGroups bring to students?
A: CampusGroups gives students (and staff) a one-stop-shop to help them connect with and manage meaningful experiences outside the classroom.
Q: Where do you see CampusGroups in three years?
A: I see us as a company with a growing community of members, with the most robust product, continuing to serve our schools and users to the best of our ability.
Q: What are you the proudest of that you achieved at CampusGroups?
A: In one year we’ve successfully broadened our client base to build a new portfolio from MBA programs to traditional four-year, undergraduate institutions. We’ve expanded our team and are opening a new office!
