Virtual Student Involvement Fairs
The Virtual Fair feature is by far the most discussed feature among our existing and prospective campuses these days. We are receiving feedback and great suggestions and are developing new capabilities non-stop to make our Virtual Fairs amazing for August and the fall.
For instance, we have been adding more group and private chat options, breakout rooms for interviewing or discussions, more support for video conferencing, and adapting for career fairs with the ability to book meetings with recruiters. We will be adding more features around attendees pre-registration, resume submissions, and employers access.
Virtual Orientations
Designing your curated welcome experience with CampusGroups offers your attendees an immersive experience both online and in person. Centralize everything they need to do to set them up for success as the semester begins!
Connect students to important resources, share schedule and program of events, communicate with new students and parents, track attendance during orientation sessions, create requirement checklists to guide students on intentional path, map progress and track completion, and much more!
Help New Students Get to Know Each Other with a Name Game!
Remembering names is one of the greatest way to connect with people! Help students begin to make new connections, even if your campus will begin the fall semester remotely.
Gamify new student networking
Help students learn the names of their classmates
Build community and earn block/section points
How it works:
The Name Game lets you review your classmates’ names in ‘practice’ mode, where you will not be scored nor able to earn points. The names and photos in the quizzes are based off of students’ profiles. Simply enter as many names as possible and click Submit.
Students need to get at least 80% of the names correct in order to ‘pass’ a cohort/block quiz and begin earning points. You can then earn points by taking the quizzes for any of the sections or cohorts in your incoming class. Take the quiz as many times as you need between set dates. If 100% of your cohort participates, you can unlock even more points.

COVID-19 Testing and Contact Tracing
Do you have technology needs regarding your Campus Re-entry Strategy for the next semester? We want to be a part of your solution! We have been brainstorming ways to better support our campuses through attendance tracking, seat assignment, event RSVPs, and more to aid in contact tracing and testing requirements for those that are on-campus.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on how we can assist you as you bring students back to campus. Click below to provide your feedback and ideas so we can get to work!
Revamped Notes and Comments Module
The Notes popup is a highly effective communication tool used in about 30 features on the platform. To improve two-way communication, all participants can now be notified each time a new note is posted and are able to post a reply to a new note by simply clicking the “Reply” button from within their email notification.
EASILY CUSTOMIZE YOUR APP’S BOTTOM MENU
Mobile App administrators can now customize their mobile apps by selecting which buttons are available and displayed in the bottom menu. Our new, easy-to-use drag & drop feature makes it simple to efficiently manage, update and tailor your app to match your campus' needs and goals.
NEW MARKETPLACE MODULE
We are thrilled to announce an amazing new module: the Marketplace by CampusGroups! This module will allow anyone in your community to list general items for sale or rent, job postings or rental listings. External constituents such as landlords can be allowed to create listings as well. Any new listing on the Marketplace can go through an approval process if needed.

INVENTORY MODULE IMPROVEMENTS
CampusGroups Inventory tool helps you manage hardware, materials, services or other resources by allowing users to check items in and out (while keeping track of their condition, identifying information and due dates).
Our latest updates include the ability to upload many inventory and equipment items or batch upload equipment that is currently being checked out with a simple CSV/Excel file. We added an Inventory tab as part of the Member and User Dashboard for administrators and officers to quickly see which inventory items a student has currently checked out. We also added a My Inventory page with return dates for students to see what they’ve borrowed and when they need to return them.
ELECTIONS IMPROVEMENTS
CampusGroups offers a secure way to facilitate the entire election process, from creating ballots, announcing and promoting, online voting and easing the transition of leadership roles. Many campuses requested the ability to offer expanded choices for their students in the voting process, so we created new options for them: Officers creating ballots can now offer students new write-in and no-vote options.

STORES IMPROVEMENTS
Many new improvements to CampusGroups Stores are giving a better management experience to sellers and a better shopping experience to buyers!
Our new upload tool allows you to create multiple products at once, and you can easily enhance your product descriptions with pictures, links, etc. You can also create Product Category tags to create different categories of products.
You now have the ability to make your store public, list all public stores available on the home page and allow external people to shop and purchase items. (These shop visitors will need to create an account or log on to checkout.) You can also let a seller create a user (if your school’s settings allow this) on the step just after clicking Checkout to make a purchase for a non-existing user.
INCREASED USER CUSTOM FIELDS VISIBILITY
User Custom Fields are now displayed on users' profiles and can be edited under the Edit Profile page (depending on the field access restrictions - public, read only, admin only).
Campuses can now create and update finance transactions in CampusGroups via our API.
Officers may now update existing files by uploading a newer version of the file, without changing the pre-existing link to the file.
Groups now have the ability make a badge private so that it's not visible to non-members of the group.
You can now add Member Custom Field filters to the Group Page under Members.
Event organizers can now decide when an event Feedback Request should be sent out (e.g., set a custom send time for two hours after an event ends instead of the default next day).
