Virtual Fairs: Latest Enhancements and Tools (Chat, Video Conferencing, Branding, Managing Access, Booth Customizations & More)

We’re thrilled to share some of the newest tools and enhancements we’ve added to Virtual Involvement Fairs!
Based on many discussions with campus administrators in charge of involvement fairs, we’re making constant additions and developing new capabilities non-stop to make our Virtual Fairs amazing!
We launched our first fair last week -- an exciting, engaging and interactive event for students gearing up for the fall semester! Following brainstorming sessions and amazing feedback, we're continuing to improve navigation, data visibility and develop new capabilities to make your Virtual Fair an incredible experience for your students.
Here's what's new for Virtual Fairs:
Greater visibility for active groups (chat and video conferencing).
Fairs can be attached to events, allowing students to register for the fair and to restrict access to the fair (e.g., restricting access to users who RSVP to an event; only opening access when the event is happening; or allowing a Virtual Fair to be available to different types of people at different times).
Fairs are now created and managed within a group by group officers.
Two chat options are available for your booth — the group chat and the one-on-one private chat. You are able to select which officers will be participating in each chat.
Officers can activate and de-activate Group Chat and Private Chat in their Booth Settings.
Control visibility of the 'I am interested’ button, which can be set as ‘hidden' for all booths under Fair Settings or for a specific booth under Booth settings.
To align with your school’s branding and voice, the wording of the 'I am interested’ button can be customized however you like!
For increased flexibility, the wording of ‘Groups' and 'Officers' can also be customized so that Virtual Fairs can be used for Career Services (Companies, Employers) and other types of fairs.
A highly visible list of officers has been added to Booths to make it very easy for prospective members to chat privately with an available group leader.

More support for video conferencing (agenda of sessions and sign-ups).
Customizations for career fairs (naming conventions for employers and recruiters, additions of features around resumes and jobs).
List of registered attendees and visitors: You'll be able to see a listing displaying all of the attendees who went to the fair, including the number of booths they visited and expressed interest in joining.
We are also making Virtual Fairs more responsive for an even smoother mobile experience.
